With 25 years of experience in the corporate world, including 14 years at Mr Price as a Senior leader in Human Resources, I took a leap in January 2023 to pursue my true passion - Career guidance and coaching at Evolve HR Consulting.

My journey into the corporate world began in high school when my dream was to become an actor and perform on Broadway or in movies. I followed my passion and enrolled in Drama studies, but after a year, life circumstances led me to leave college and enter the corporate field, where I found myself naturally drawn to Human Resources.

I spent the first 15 years of my career immersed in recruitment, working both with recruitment agencies in South Africa and Australia, as well as in-house for large corporations in South Africa. My time at Mr Price was especially impactful, where I spent 4 years managing the graduate recruitment intake. I had the privilege of visiting top universities across South Africa, attracting top talent, and educating young students about retail as a thriving industry.

The following 10 years at Mr Price were dedicated to recruiting, developing talent, and managing the annual graduate trainee intake for the company's merchandising division. A key passion of mine throughout my career has been helping young students discover their career paths and assisting young people as they enter the working world. I believe in the power of mentorship and providing guidance to the next generation, helping them build fulfilling careers and make impactful contributions in their chosen fields. My dedication to making a difference in people's lives continues to drive me as I empower others to find their purpose and evolve both professionally and personally.
